Nintendo's popular Switch 2 console, having already sold over 23 million units worldwide since its release more than a year ago, is set to receive another enticing hardware package. This latest offering, a "Choose-Your-Game" bundle, is specifically tailored for the Japanese market and aims to further invigorate sales in the region. Slated for release on November 12, 2026, the bundle provides consumers with a choice of popular titles, continuing Nintendo's strategy of offering diverse options to its player base.

The upcoming Japanese bundle, priced at 63,980 yen, includes the Switch 2 console along with a digital redemption code for one of three games: Mario Kart World, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, or Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. This selection caters to a broad audience, encompassing racing, life simulation, and sports genres. The inclusion of the "Japanese-language System" model emphasizes Nintendo's commitment to providing region-specific content and hardware, ensuring optimal user experience for its domestic customers.

Notably, the "Japanese-language System" variant, first introduced last year, is designed exclusively for the Japanese market. While Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a title originally released for the previous Switch model, it has been optimized to offer enhanced gameplay experiences on the Switch 2. This strategic bundling of both new and enhanced legacy titles showcases Nintendo's efforts to maximize value for consumers.

This new bundle is part of a broader marketing push by Nintendo, which has seen several hardware packages and themed consoles introduced globally. Earlier this year, a Monster Hunter Wilds-themed Switch 2 bundle was announced for Japan, set to launch in December alongside the game. Similarly, other regions have received bundles featuring popular titles like Pokémon Pokopia. These initiatives underscore Nintendo's ongoing commitment to engaging its diverse player base with varied hardware and software combinations.

The introduction of this latest "Choose-Your-Game" bundle in Japan reflects Nintendo's continued efforts to expand the Switch 2's reach and maintain its strong sales momentum by offering attractive, region-specific options to its dedicated fan base.
