The principal actors from the popular comedy series New Girl, including Zooey Deschanel, Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson, Lamorne Morris, Hannah Simone, and Damon Wayans Jr., are slated to make a joint appearance. This much-anticipated reunion will take place at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball on October 10th, bringing the beloved cast together once more.
At the Los Angeles gala, the entire New Girl cast will be presented with the prestigious Rising Phoenix Award. This honor acknowledges their collective impact and coincides with the event's purpose: supporting Chrysalis, a Southern California non-profit dedicated to assisting individuals in overcoming obstacles to secure meaningful employment opportunities.
Adding to the excitement, Max Greenfield, a prominent member of the New Girl cast, will assume the role of host for the evening. Alongside the actors' recognition, Jared Wolff, the Chairman and CEO of Banc of California, will be honored with the Corporate Trailblazer Award, highlighting leadership and community investment.
Mark Loranger, President and CEO of Chrysalis, articulated the profound significance of this year's honorees. He emphasized that both the cast of New Girl and Jared Wolff embody the spirit of resilience and the promise of new beginnings, which are central to Chrysalis's impactful work in fostering personal and professional transformations.
The 2026 Butterfly Ball boasts a distinguished group of honorary co-chairs, including Max Greenfield, Betsy Beers, Rebecca Gayheart Dane, Hayward Kaiser & Susan Harris, Chris Hart, Cynthia and Bob Hart, Rick Hess, Josh Lieberman, and Amelia Williamson. The event is further bolstered by generous support from key sponsors such as The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation, TruAmerica, and US Bank, underscoring a broad commitment to community empowerment.
