First Eagle Overseas Equity ETF: Q2 2026 Performance Review

By Michele Ferrero

By Michele Ferrero
During the second quarter of 2026, the Overseas Equity Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) achieved a noteworthy return of 7.11%. This positive outcome was significantly bolstered by strong contributions from investments in emerging markets and developed European economies.
The stellar performance of the ETF was largely attributed to its allocations in emerging markets and developed European regions. Conversely, the North American market and developed Asian economies, excluding Japan, presented some headwinds, partially offsetting the gains from other regions.
From a sectoral perspective, the information technology and consumer staples sectors emerged as the most substantial positive contributors to the ETF's performance. In contrast, the energy, materials, and communication services sectors recorded negative contributions, impacting overall returns.
