ByMark Rosewater
Epic Games Store is delighted to announce a special offering for its users this week, featuring two captivating PC games available at no cost. Gamers can dive into a thrilling horror puzzle experience or unwind with a strategic medieval city-building simulation, both entirely free for a restricted duration.
One of the featured titles is 'Out of Sight,' a compelling horror game perfectly timed for the spooky season. Players step into the shoes of Sophie, a young protagonist attempting to escape her captors. Sophie navigates the world with the help of her trusty teddy bear, providing a unique first-person perspective when held. This innovative mechanic allows players to switch to a more traditional viewpoint when solving intricate puzzles. The game's distinctive approach to horror has garnered significant praise, reflected in over 800 'Very Positive' reviews from players on Steam.
For those seeking a more tranquil gaming experience, 'TerraScape' offers a relaxing alternative. This medieval city builder seamlessly blends strategic planning with engaging puzzle-solving, all without the pressure of a ticking clock. Players have the freedom to construct their ideal city using over 40 individual buildings and 15 combination structures. 'TerraScape' supports cooperative play, allowing friends to build together, or for a competitive twist, multiplayer modes enable players to vie for points by strategically placing buildings. This title has also achieved remarkable success, boasting over 900 'Very Positive' player reviews on Steam.
To claim these exciting free games, 'Out of Sight' and 'TerraScape,' users simply need to log into their Epic Games Store accounts. Both titles will remain free until 11 a.m. EDT on Thursday, October 15th, providing ample opportunity for gamers to add these acclaimed adventures to their libraries.
