Argos Tottenham Court Road Hosts Exclusive Midnight Celebration for Zelda Remake

As the release date for the reimagined 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time' draws near, major retailers are beginning to unveil enticing promotional items. Argos, a prominent UK retailer, has announced its plans for a special midnight opening at its Tottenham Court Road store, branded as a "Nintendo Pop Up Shop." The highlight of this event is the reveal of a complimentary Nintendo 64 box replica, which appears to be the same PAL version offered in France, along with an 'Ocarina of Time' keyring.

Official Announcement Details: A Night of Nostalgia and New Adventures

According to the official announcement from the Argos website, the event is scheduled for Thursday, November 5th, for one night only, marking the midnight launch of 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake.' This celebration also commemorates the 40th Anniversary of the Zelda franchise. Attendees at the Tottenham Court Road store will receive a free Nintendo 64 box replica by simply purchasing the game during the midnight opening. This exclusive gift includes the replica box, an inner tray, and a keyring, available while supplies last.

Exclusive In-Store Offer: A Collector's Dream for Zelda Fans

The replica box, designed as a slipcase, allows players to store the Switch 2 version of the game inside, offering a nostalgic touch to their modern gaming experience. It's crucial to note that this offer is exclusively available in-store at the Argos Tottenham Court Road location during the event and is subject to availability. Beyond the collectible items, those who attend the launch will also have the unique opportunity to test out the Switch 2 console, explore a range of exclusive Nintendo merchandise, and browse the latest games and accessories.

Global Offerings: Similar Pre-Order Incentives Across Regions

This special offer from Argos is part of a broader trend of retailers providing unique incentives for the 'Ocarina of Time Remake'. For instance, in Canada, EB Games is offering its own rendition of the classic N64 box art as a pre-order bonus. Fans interested in securing these bonuses or finding out more about where to pre-order the game can consult various gaming news outlets and retailer guides for comprehensive information on available options and regional exclusives.
